We know you have many choices when choosing a dermatologist, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple and convenient process. Please call our office at (502) 339-2922.  If for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.  Missed appointments or appointments not cancelled within 24 hours are a lost opportunity for us to help another patient.  We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice of cancellation/reschedule.

A charge of $25.00 will be billed to the patient if the appointment is not cancelled/rescheduled 24 hours prior to the appointment time.  This charge will be the patient's responsibility.  Two or more missed/reschedule appointment without 24 hours notice may lead to your termination as a patient of Brownsboro Dermatology.

Insurance and Billing

We accept most traditional insurance plans. We do not accept Medicaid (Passport), Tricare,or Humana HMO plans for seniors. Please contact your insurance company to verify that our providers are in network with your plan. You will also need to confirm whether you need a referral. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dermatologist.  If your insurance plan (HMO) requires a referral from your Primary Care Physician (PCP), please bring the approved referral form with you to the visit.  If you do not have an approved referral from your PCP, your visit may have to be rescheduled.
