Dr. Janice Yusk
Dr. Janice Yusk, a former Tennessean, graduated from the University
of Tennessee Medical School in 1966. Following her internship and two
years of dermatology residency there, she completed her last year of
dermatology training at the University of Louisville Medical School
where she served as chief resident. She was board certified in
dermatology in 1972 and re-certified in 2002 and 2008. She has practiced
dermatology since 1972.
She is a clinical professor at the University of Louisville Medical
School in dermatology and pediatrics. She is also Chief of Pediatric
Dermatology at Kosair Children’s Hospital. Dr. Yusk is a member of the
Greater Louisville Medical Society, Kentucky Medical Society, Kentucky
Dermatologic Society, Pediatric Dermatology Society and the American
Academy of Dermatology. She was elected to AOA honorary medical society
upon medical school graduation and has been recognized in Louisville
Magazine “Best Doctors in Louisville” and Woodward and White’s “Best
Doctors In America.”
She is married to Dr. Ted Hodge, Director of Pastoral Care at Baptist
Hospital East. They have four children and small grandchildren.
